Decorative Burlap Bags
Our decorative burlap is always changing. While you cannot choose what bag you'll receive, rest assured it'll be as unique as the coffee that came in it. Some are even hand painted! Frame them for art, use them to make tote bags - just be sure to tag us on social media with your creations so we can see them!
We donate $2.50 of each bag sold to the Oyster Recovery Partnership to support their oyster restoration efforts.

Burlap coffee sacks, potato sacks, jute bags - there are many names for this strong, eco-friendly, and versatile material.
Burlap, also known as jute, is a versatile and eco-friendly material made from the fibers of the jute plant. The jute plant has strong fibers that are ideal for creating durable and biodegradable products. Burlap is created by spinning these fibers into a coarse thread and then weaving the threads together to form a sturdy fabric.
Burlap has many uses; some common applications include:
- Bags and sacks for agricultural products, such as coffee beans
- Landscaping and gardening as a natural and biodegradable barrier for weed control
- Home décor, such as curtains, table runners, and accent pillows
Different burlap fabric types are available and vary in terms of texture, weight, and weave. Some examples include:
- Fine burlap: This type has a tight weave and a smoother finish, making it suitable for crafts and home décor projects.
- Coarse burlap: With a looser weave and a rougher texture, this type is ideal for gardening and utilitarian purposes.
Here at CCR, all of our burlap bags contained green coffee beans. A majority of them are 100% natural burlap, with just a few that have the addition of polyester strings, and we have both fabric types. All our bags have some form of printing, whether a simple stamp of the coffee name and origin or a very detailed hand-painting!
